HipHop ShortStop was founded by "Dana P." Dana's lifelong passion of hip hop and its rich culture combined with her love of sports, baseball in particular, birthed the idea for this blog and it's social networking, by extension. HipHop ShortStop covers sporting events, hip hop news and conducts interviews with high profile people from both industries.

In addition to the blog, Dana has consulted for Wu Tang Management. She has worked with the company since 2013 and has covered events such as: Toure Designs fashion show at Merecedez Benz New York Fashion Week, Wu Tang Clan member Cappadonna's skateboard line launch event; Killa Bee Skateboards in New York City, Fools Gold "Days Off" event featuring performances by French Montana, and The Lox, Joel Ortiz album release event & performance at SOBs in New York City, concerts at BB Kings featuring Fabolous, The Lox & Lil Kim, Source360 festivities & concert at Barclays Center, & The 90's R&B Reunion featuring performances by 112, Faith Evans, Carl Thomas & Total.

Dana works mainly out of the New Jersey/New York area.
